About David Pickles

David provides leadership, planning and administrative support to Business & Leadership Connection. After a long and successful career in local corporations, David has moved into a second phase of his career and life – serving the community in a number of ways. As the Connections Pastor at Celebration Center church in Puyallup, he serves the needs of the community by helping people connect with others of like mind and interests. As the driving force behind BLC, he is focusing on his passion to see local business improve their results and the culture in which they work.

David’s corporate career included nearly 29 years at Weyerhaeuser, a locally based, international company with a diverse portfolio of businesses. David fulfilled numerous roles including project manager, department manager and enterprise systems architect. He developed his leadership skills through practical application and professional development. He successfully transformed a major technology department into an organization led with vision and known for customer service. David led major strategic company initiatives and chartered new departments to meet the needs of the company he serves.

David attended Washington State University’s business program and currently holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministry.
